6. I love "Vicar" too.
Athought the last series got a little off the wall.
I love when Frank came out on the radio and no one listened.

11. I love Frank Pickle!
Edited on Wed Mar-09-05 10:33 PM by CottonBear
I've been accused of being like Frank... I missed the episode where the Vicar has the mad love affair with David's brother. It was on 3 times on GPTV. My hubby saw it but I'd fallen asleep. Damn. Now I've gotta buy a DVD.

I love Hugo. He is sweet. The best moment though, is when David asks her (the Vicar) to stay...

15. Remember this episode?
The one where the vicar wanted a service to bless the animals?
Hugo stood up to David about why animals should be blessed. Made me teary-eyed!

18. Oh! That's about my favorite!
David always comes around. I love the horses (I have a horse) and riders that go to the church for the blessing.

Vicar is the best TV show EVER,

the best episode may be the Christmas Story where Alice gives birth to baby Geraldine!

4. I've only seen a little of it, but I loved it. Fresh air in the vaccum of
tv crapola in the US.

Jennifer Saunders is brilliant. (I've seen a lot of AbFab).

Anybody with good sense is a French and Saunders fan. That's a given.....

OK. If you are really a F&S fan.... who sang Kinky Boots?

17. It was Honor Blackman
but Merle Oberon is, in fact, the correct answer.

I owe you dinner or something. Maybe a glass of Coke. But if you put a cow in it it won't be there in the morning! You'll have to take a rain check on the prize dinner though - I'm going to be stranded on a desert island with Oliver Reed.....

9. The only thing I've seen both in...
... was a bit in the `80s on HBO of British comedians--French & Saunders, "Motormouth" Ben Elton, Rowan Atkinson (which included a puppet of Ronald Reagan humping a puppet of Margaret Thatcher in a box seat). F&S did a very funny bit about one girlfriend asking another about birth control.

16. Dawn French is married to Lenny Henry (Chef)
I would have never paired those two but I imagine that they are perfect together! They've been married for years and have an adopted daughter.

24. They were hilarious. I got off me lazy bum and looked it
up and yes she is married to a guy named Adrian Edmondson who played Vivien.

MTV carried 'The Young Ones' years ago and BBC America sometimes throws them in their mix of Brit funnies.

:-)
