Please help with blogger.com
Edited on Wed Mar-09-05 11:40 PM by Jesus Saves
I was looking into the possibility of setting up a blog. I know the idea is somewhat ridiculous as the world is full of blogs. I mean, let's get real, does the world really need another blogger? As Cracker said - 'like I need a hole in my head'.

But anyway - on blogger.com I can't figure how to even sign up for a free blog.

Please click the link below and tell me if you can see the link they tell you to click on to begin. It says "Just click the link below, and you can be part of the phenomenon that's transforming web and media to a participatory activity in less than five minutes." But I see no link.

i suggest using www.typepad.com or www.livejournal.com

4. isn't blogger.com the 'gold standard' of blogs?
that's been my impression, could be wrong though.

9. Google's marketing campaign is clearly working
... it's a matter of taste, I'm sure.

i personally like Typepad best, having tried multiple (including blogger.com). but -- again, I don't think there IS a "best" here -- I think you find the one that has the features (and price) that you want.

6. What browser are you using and on what computer
If your using IE on a Mac then you won't see any buttons.

Here's the link for browser help:

http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=930

Read it and see what it says. I suspect that you are using a Internet browser that isn't supported by Blogger. The Blogger Tech help team says that Firefox works for blogger.com and Firefox is free so you might want to try Firefox. In any case, good luck.
