Who watched the Dan Rather special tonight?
A Reporter Remembers

There were several wonderful little digs in there about how any reporter who doesn't ask the tough questions is not doing their job.

1. I did...I watched it...
What I saw, was Rather hanging on to a stretcher with a wounded Viet Nam soldier.

I don't recall BUSH/CHENEY doing the same thing.

One of them was too busy snorting coke off of a hookers stomach, and the other one was figuring out a way to get a fifth deferment to avoid doing the same thing Rather did.

They are ball-less sissies and they should have half the sac that Rather had.

This is a shame and the Monkey is a coward.

2. r.e.m. had a segment!
His pissing match with Poppy was another highlight.

Did it show him getting roughed up in Chicago? I missed the first 20 minutes.

4. Yes it did
He said that if the media is not at odds with the administration, then something is wrong. He talked about the nixon administration trying to control what was reported...hmm, history DOES repeat itself!
