Contact Lens users - what brand do you use?

I just found out my Pro-Clears, which are amazing for dry eyes, was discontinued. I won't use Acuvues because of an issue I had about 5 years ago with them. I'm on this new brand that I absolutely hate (3 month variety - they feel heavy on my eyes).

What brand do you use and have you had any luck?

4. I had a small rupture on my one cornea

that I got from Acuvues.

It's kinda the same thing with me and Chinese food. I got food poisoning once back in 1988 and now to this day I refuse to eat Chinese food unless absolutely necessary and when I do eat it I usually feel like shit afterwards. I just can't get myself to wear Acuvues again.

My cornea is fine but there's a tiny little scar on it

10. I had this once, but that was before disposable lenses.

Took them away, was kinda difficult, than a small pain that started to grow, grow, grow... :scared:

5. Envision

I've worn hard contacts since I was 16 (I'm 40 now) and these are the most comfortable I have worn. They are gas-permeable and allow your eyes to "breath" more.

I was too lazy to continue with the whole cleaning routine, so now wear disposable lenses.

The change was brilliant. They're so damn easy, just open the pack first thing and stick it in, then throw away at the end of the day.

They're fine, apart from the fact that I've got an astigmatism which they don't correct - I'm thinking of switching to toric ones which do, but which cost a fair deal more.

I wear them about half of the time, and glasses the rest. All on a simple Direct Debit system, with the lenses coming through the post every couple of months.

I had them right before I switched to Pro-Clears and they were pretty decent. Gotta stick with what you know!
