that Jesus was nothing but a long haired, sandal wearing hippy. (In response to her freaking out when I told her I was an atheist.)

I just got a chuckle out of it ... that's all. As for any Christians I may have offended ... LIGHTEN UP!!!!! You don't REALLY believe that Christ looks like those pre-school pictures many of us grew up with, do you? I've visited this site many times (whitehouse.org/landoverbaptist.org) and I know it is satire. I love satire.
