4. I trim mine with scissors
It's much easier to maintain than shaving.

5. Me, too
But just excess length; it's hard to tell I even trim them. Plus I am too indoctrinated with the (irrational?) fear that shaving in places that aren't typically shaved will cause the hair to grow back thicker, and I'm hairy enough as is.

6. Yes and yes

One of the greates "harboureres" of odor is not so much the hair, but dead skin

Shaving, with a razor,(not electric) exfoliates (removes dead skin) to a greater degree than washing does.

Also, deoderant is not needed, nor recommended, especially when just "starting" to shave. The skin will be sensitive for a bit, but after a few weeks, you can race that razor acrosss the tender skin of the "pit" like one does their face.

Also, I find that it goes much better, and with less irritation if one does NOT use shaving cream, or wash before shaving. The natural skin oils act as a lubricant for the razor, but if washed and lathered, irritaion increases.

OH

The colder the water, the less irritation -

yup -

it'll be a abit of a "thrill"(chill) at first!

:silly:
