Which State Has The Coolest Flag?
I am prejudice but I think New Mexico's really works. A flag should be simple with bold colors and a bold but simple logo. Flags with all kinds of little tiny words and intricate designs just don't work. Some good ones are:

New Mexico
Colorado
Mississippi
Georgia
Hawaii
Texas
Tennessee
Wyoming

2. Georgia's looks far better now, both aesthetically and symbolically

Unfortunately, most of them look like they were created by an eighth grader from clipart.

The worst one that I see is the Hawaiian one, both for the design and the outdated colonial bullshit appended in the upper left corner. I grow really tired of seeing the Union Jack on the flags of every island that Great Britain conquered a hundred years ago.

On edit: yes, I know that it was actually adopted in honor of their 'friendship' with the British. The motif is still seriously abused, the Falkland Islands, Bermuda, and Anguila flags being notable examples.

I don't have many good things to say about this g.d. state but their flag is simple and elegant - it ROCKS.
