Dental Question...
Has anyone here ever had Gingevectomy or Cosmetic Gum Restructuring? I have been told by my dentist that I should get it, but I am afraid of the level of pain. Any comments or suggestions? Frankly, the sound of it makes my stomach hurt, but I am wondering about any experiences you may have had with it

No pain during the procedure...it was a long time ago and I can't remember what was used to knock me out.

Make sure the dentist uses the laser method. (no bleeding)

You are hearing from a person who is petrified of the dentist.

You will be okay.
edit: forgot stuff

2. Thanks!
He will be using the Laser method. I am just terrified of the dentist and any sort of pain. I just know that I will look so much better after I have this done. I was born with perfectly straight teeth, I have only had two cavities in my life, so I when I get this done, I guess I will have a great smile and a healthy mouth.

to go online to get the SAME teeth-bleaching gel and tooth trays (they sent you the trays to get molds of your teeth). These are the SAME places that dentists order theirs from and you pay about $100 vs. $300-400 at dentist.

Amazing...as you get older, ahem...teeth turn yellowish and you look older. Man, this stuff has my teeth pearly white. I wear the trays to bed for about one week ever other night and don't have to bleach again for 6 months.

Again, this stuff is not those White Strips that will cost you a bundle bec you will have to use about 3 kits for a long time.\

edit: usual

3. I've had it about three times.
Not to worry. The dentist numbs you up and you don't feel any pain. And in the case of my dentist, I got lots of pain pills afterward.
