3. I was going to say the same thing...

I have filters on my email that doesn't allow emails with certain words to come through. It's their way of getting around that.

Mine all come with various interspersed characters, like the periods in "S.P.E.C.T.E.R" (only explicit and not with periods).

12. I read an article about this mangling to get past filters.

And it was basically about how ironic it was that they had to turn the spam into such a mess to get it into your mailbox, that it's worthless as an advertisement once it gets there. It's like spam is self-destructing.
