I've never posted a picture of something four-legged before...
Because I don't have a pet.

I want one, but my schedule and living space isn't conducive to having a pet.

I spend lot's of time away at work, and I don't believe that a pet should be alone all day, trapped inside.

My sister however, she has a few cats and one great dog.
She lives in NE Pennsylvania, and they are building a new house on 15 acres that my brother-in-laws parents gave them.

That's what a dog needs.
Lot's and lot's of room to run and play and be a dog.
When I go and visit them I spend more time playing with the dog than I do anything else.

Meet Emma. My favorite thing on four legs. When she sees me, she freaks out and just about knocks me down she's so happy.

There's just something noble and regal about some dogs.
I love the way she smells when she's been running around in the snow and she comes in all cold and freezy.

Dogs. I want one. Just like Emma.

:hi:

4. What a beautiful Golden Retriever!
Goldens are just wonderful dogs!

I had one named Ben. He also knocked me over on occasion. He would get so excited that he would just throw himself at you! He loved the snow too!

6. You are smart
to wait until there is a time when having a dog would be better for you and the dog.
If you enjoy the company of dogs, usually animal shelters can use volunteers to take a cooped-up dog for a walk. The trouble is, it's hard not to fall in love with one.
Your 'doggie niece' Emma is a lovely girl!

7. I love Emma too!
She's beautiful and she has a very ancient look in her eyes -- like she's know several souls.
