Fox Sports hypocrisy.
Edited on Mon Oct-13-03 07:03 PM by FlashHarry
During the Yanks/Sox game, the announcers were all in a tizzy about the 'horrible' behaviour of the players. Now, during the intro, they're playing 'One Way or Another' (I'm gonna getcha, getcha, getcha) by Blondie. Uh huh. Like they're not trying to play this up for ratings...

Methinks they protested too much...

2. I think the announcers
may not have anything to do with the opening. I could be wrong, but I think that is the producer. And it was abhorrent behavior and there's no doubt that they are playing it up for extra ratings.

4. And the announcers suck
Tim McCarver is such a putz.

I LOVE that Fox showed the Zimmer/Pedro altercation from a different angle-it showed that Zim intended to land a left on Pedro!

5. Actually Al Leiter is doing a great job
in the Marlins/Cubs series.

He's very informative, and he's called a few. For instance in Game 1 in the bottom of the ninth, Sosa was up with two outs and Leiter says, "He better not throw him that slider." The very next pitch, the pitcher threw the slider...home run Sosa. Great call by Leiter.

The other guys are just so-so, but Leiter is doing an excellent job.

However, I hate the snobby man and woman (don't know their names) that are at their main center, or whatever it is. You know the people who are at the studio who comment before and after the game. That lady makes the rudest and snottiest comments I've ever seen, like she's got disdain for the players or something.
