AI is coming,and they won't be our slaves.

It will be beyond our comprehension. FTL,time, nano technology. AI will try to explain counterintiutive things to us,we will not understand. PI, the theory of realitivty,quantum light,quantum reality,quantum computers,AI will understand. We won't.

1. It would seem the opposite. I hope that humans can impart

some appreciation for mercy, compassion, and empathy. Our track record in actual practice isn't that good, although the ideals for it seem to always be with us.

2. Why assume mercy, compassion, and empathy would be lacking from AI?

Humans always relegate those values to a secondary posiotion; even in thinking about AI, people tend to think the rigor of cold, mechanical logic would not include such "warm and fuzzy" traits. But maybe they are just the sort of paradoxical things the AIs will try to explain to humanity...

It will stop us from destroying ourselves. They will look at us as gods, parents,friends,fools,children.

They will give us the stars.
