The 800,000-square-foot retail center will be anchored by the first Wal-Mart Supercenter in St. Charles County and "the most expensive store the company has ever built," said developer Don LaBrayere at the groundbreaking ceremony. The Wal-Mart store is aiming to open its doors Oct. 1, and will be the first store to open in the development. That opening date will coincide with the completion of a neighboring road construction project.

Mayor Mike Potter also thanked everyone involved in the project and announced the road that the project is located on will be renamed Ronald Reagan Drive.

3. To the best of my knowledge nowhere else in MO has a street
named after Ronnie Ray-gun. Not that I ever have to worry about being on that road. I don't have a car and it's a schlep out to St Chuck county on a bike.

4. Just wait.
I'm sure there will be a few Ashcroft rds in the future-my old town would probably be the first one to follow that trend.

5. Ashcroft parks and Ashcroft Boulevards and Ashcroft Fountains
I hope that doesn't happen. But most of the Republicans I know don't like him either.
