I'm going to see The Pacifier today

I haven't been to the movies in awhile, and it looked funny. I also find Brittany Snow very attractive.

It was not a good movie by any means. It is cute but really stupid...

I've got to say it. What else is playing?

It was a cute movie. Pro-family, but in a positive way. On the other hand, I can't say it was nearly as funny as it was cracked up to be. In some ways this movie used an increasingly timeworn formula: the efficient Mom leaves the house for awhile, and the high maintenance kids terrorize some poor, but well meaning man with little experience in homemaking. It can be funny, but we've seen this formula used again and again in "Cheaper by the Dozen", "Mr. Mom" and several others. The storyline is moderately interesting, and the children play out very well developed characters. Diesel plays a convincing, yet compassionate, Navy Seal. Yet somehow I just didn't find this movie as funny as I had expected to.
