Okay, what's up with the censorship on Family Guy?!

"Brian Does Hollywood" - we don't even get to see what a Woody looks like. Sheesh! Just a big fuzzy oval over the trophy that he picks up.

$35 for this set and they have to censor everything?

2. YES!

What's more garish and obscene: To actually draw it, or to draw it and then somebody else decides to cover it up despite the rest of the episode being that much more of a purported embarrassment? The entire story "And the Weiner is" was far more offensive, technically, than a drawing of what one looks like. What's up with the double standard? Or are men really embarrassed over what it looks like?!

I just watched that episode (again) tonight.

Of all the gin joints in all the world, we're both watching Brian win a Woody.

I don't know why they did that either, considering all the other stuff they did in the whole show.

but it's typical of America. Here, they'll show t&a 24/7, but it took years to see a man's behind, not to mention any male frontal nudity.

As a female, I'm all for male frontal nudity, btw.

Sure, they could show us a huge phallic statue (which, frankly, wouldn't be very photogenic), but it's funnier to leave such things to the imagination.
