Who else is sick of Law & Order and all of its Progeny?
Yesterday when I was sitting at home I turned on the TV, and as I was flipping through the channels, I noticed that Law & Order was playing on THREE different channels at the same time.

Law & Order, SVU, Criminal Intent....GAAAAAHHHHH!

Enough already!!!

2. Can't get sick of something I never watch.

Commercial TV sucks. I only watch DVDs.

3. I think they need to get more creative.
For the inevitable fifth series, I think it should be about forest rangers defending the law in a national park.

4. Some of them are ok.
The original one is fine, along with SVU. But all the others along with the CSI's annoy me. They push and push the violent crime angle nonstop.
I'd love to see a show that concentrated on white-collar crime. Kinda like a CSI only with Forensic Accountants. If I were starting life over that's what I'd love to be, catching the bad guys. Only this time they wouldn't be sticking up a 7-11. They'd be the crooked banker or stockbroker or ceo.

6. It's not the show itself that I'm complaining about
It's the overkill.

Someone needs to acquaint the producers with the law of diminishing returns.

8. Yes I agree.
There needs to be an original idea out in TV land somewhere.

7. They are not original
It is the same thing on each one. I used to love the original one, because it was different. There were 3 different segments. Now it is like one big mess.

ORIGINAL = LOST!

10. I only watch L&O
for Sam Waterston, and his character (Jack McCoy) has become a pale shadow of itself. Dick Wolf, the producer, is a smug rich conservative whose latest effort, Trial By Jury, seems to be an indictment of defense attorneys and women in the legal profession. Even loyal L&O fans are expressing distaste over this latest creation.

12. About 5 years ago, I might watch the original, sometimes
Until I worked at my last job and this f*&&ing guy at my work watched it all the fucking time. Every fucking night. He would see the same fucking episode 80 fucking times and be suprised each fucking time and the stupid bingy noise fucking drove me fucking nuts.

I have since been promoted to a place where I actually work, not a wait to work type deal where I had to deal with people's lack of variety in TV watching.

Rant overwith.

:)

17. never watch it....
but my parents, religious watchers since its beginning, are even starting to get tired of the formulaic plots...when you lose my parents, who have always loved cops/courts shows, you know the show has passed it's high point...Hell, my mom stopped watching NYPD blue years ago, and i don't blame her one bit:puke:

overexposure and too much reliance on plot 'formulas' are two sins american TV writers never seem to understand...I weep for the future of my beloved CSI...

18. Law & Order: Criminal Intent
is my favorite and always check to see if there are reruns of it on USA channel.
Besides that - Vincent D'Onofrio is a really good Dem!

19. I LOVE LAW AND ORDER!
It's my favoritest show in the world. I'm not kidding! Saturday nights are my favorite because they have three episodes on in a row. I'd have to say SVU is my favorite, followed by Criminal Intent. I haven't seen the new one yet, though.
