You know it's time to wash dishes when ...
... you have service for 8
... you live alone
... the restaurant delivery arrives without silverware
... and you can't find a clean fork

7. yikes... yes, I imagine that would be ...
i have no cats, but my friend does .. and when i stay at her place, they're ALWAYS drinking water .. but only fresh water (well.. if you consider toilet water fresh) ... they'll TRY to drink out of your glass, but then, the next day, won't touch the glass.

10. ... the crib is full
Handy household tip: The crib is for the dishes. The trash goes on the balcony.

17. yeah -- think your'e right
actually, have been going back and forth re: hiring a cleaner.
Yes: because I can and because I hate cleaning
No: because it's a small place.. surely i can maintain a 2-bedroom place
Yes: Yes.. but i don't LIKE to

.. and so it goes.

13. I thought I was the only one that did that!
I eventually put them in the dishwasher and run it rather than do them by hand. You'd think it would be easy to wash the dishes you use immediately afer you use them but I just can't do that for some reason.

20. I have service for 12, but...
hid eleven of them.

It works, but I have found that that one lousy fork or plate tends to be washed just before eating, not right after.
