I've got the movie "Saw." Should I watch it?
I got it from Netflix. Husband watched it over the weekend and I saw enough (little bits and pieces) to know it's dark and scary and possibly quite depressing.

I can't decide if I'm in the mood for it tonight. Or should I just mail it back (at least one of us watched it).

I also have "Bush Family Fortunes: the Best Democracy Money Can Buy" a documnetary that is quite anti-bush, but oddly, I don't feel in the mood for that, either. It would just get me pissed off all over again.

3. I'll be a wiener and give it to you without cage matching you for it.
The husband really liked it, though. Said it was freaky.

Have you seen it?

2. Honestly?
I watched some of it, turned it off and went to bed. Its the typical blood and gore stuff. And yes, depressing.

5. it's pretty grueling
I had to see it for an article I was writing. On an otherwise sunny day, it left me with a pretty dark feeling for awhile...

6. I really didn't like it...
...and I like the dark creepy stuff. It started with a good premise, then it fell apart. Also, the worst acting I've ever seen from Cary Elwes (sp?).

7. it was the scariest movie i have ever seen...
there's not even a close second place. So if you like being scared, watch it.

Whoever said that Cary Elwes did a bad acting job was right on. OMG...he is so awful. He's never been a good actor, but in Saw he is particularly horrendous.

11. Did you find yourself wondering, thoughout the movie,
why he was getting progressively paler and ashen? We were watching the movie and in one scene he's got normal skin tone, pink cheeks, and like, 2 minutes later it looked like he went rolling in a vat of Johnson's Baby Powder...then 3 minutes later, he's got circles under his eyes like He's been crying with an eye-full of mascara, then finally, he becomes so white that he blends in with the background and you can't tell if it's the wall talking, or Cary...

8. I liked it
I think it is perfectly good enough to recommend. It's not all that depressing. The surprise ending is not all that imaginative.

10. Totally watch it
Hubby and I got it at the reccomendation of a friend---I had never heard of it before she told me about it, and then I started seeing a few ads on TV about how it was available on DVD.

SO we watched it, and about halfway through the film I just KNOW I've got this thing figured out....I started getting bored because I just knew that the ending was going to be X and Y was going to happen to one character...

Boy, was *I* wrong.

You must watch it until the very last second. I mean the VERY last second.

That movie gave me the heebie-fucking-jeebies that night.
