Which sport is more classless? Baseball or Football?
I love these self-righteous columnists writing about how Saturday's Red Sox - Yankees brawl was a black eye for the game, and how Manny's home run trot in Game 5 of the ALDS against Oakland was so classless.

Yet watch Football. Any time a defensive back nearly decapitates a defenseless reciever coming over the middle, the crowd goes wild, the DB gets to dance over the lifeless body, and the announcers praise him.

Warren Sapp last year absolutely leveled Chad CLifton of the Packers for no reason (Clifton was out of the play). CLifton suffered a sepreated Pelvis and spent months in excruciating pain. Yet TV analysts fell over themsleves to defend Sapp and called it a "clean hit".

Yet Baseball has a "black eye"? Give me a break.

1. Let's not get into this.
Both sports have their negative stories on and off the field. Both sports need to do some cleaning up.

3. Technically the Sapp hit was "clean"
I thought it was unneccesary myself, but it was within the rules.Whether Clifton was out of the play or not you're supposed to keep your head up.Even Clifton has said he doesn't feel it was a dirty hit (though like me he felt it was unneccesary).

I thought Manny's reaction, both to the home run he hit and to Clemens pitch, was out of line.Manny is a bozo...and I'm a Sox fan
