BATTLESTAR GALACTICA is BACK!

This show was one of my favorites during my formative years. It details the story of a ragtag group of humans (democrats) being persecuted across the universe by reptilian monsters in robotic skins (repukes). Looking forward to the new incarnation. This December!

1 -- Cylons look like humans now.

2 -- Starbuck is a woman, and not a womanizer.

3 -- I hear they're dropping the Egyptian space travelers backstory.

I'll still watch it with an open mind though.

..and it is true.

It isn't a continuation of the original. It is reimagined.

Kind of like how 1978's Superman the Movie bore little resemblance to it's 1940's and 50's counterparts and took extensive liberties with the comics stories.

If you're a hardcore cult fan of the original, you'll find fault with it regardless of how good or bad it is.

Just a broad sci-fi fan? Well, the trailers look promising - and I have faith in the show's producers.

So we'll see.

7. I'm not hardcore, as I always thought it was silly, even when

I was watching it.

But why the Cylons? I could deal with a radical redesign, but half the charm was the robots.
