Life is so damn complicated
I am job searching right now. I called a gent at CBC and I don't know if I have a great shot at the position, but it is worth pursuing. BUt I would not hear about that job for a couple weeks. IN the meantime..should I accept another shoul it arise??? AHHH!

It's not just the CBC job, there are others that MAY happen..I'm so scared I'll choose one then findout a couple weeks later I could have had a better one!

1. If you choose one, and another arises, then gently resign and take the
better position.

Had to do that more than a couple times back in the day. If you're decent, kind and honest about it, it's just business.

2. No. Hang tight. The right one will happen and you will know it..........
Only take the other one if it means no disruption of your life. I used to be one of those people who were "loyal" to companies. But firms are never loyal to people so now I say - get what you can, what you need, what makes you happy. Do the best you can for yourself. But don't give up anything along the way. Hope this helps.

4. Yeah that sucks
I have lost out on opputrunities though holding out for that good job that I thought that I had a good chance at getting. After all, I wasn't going to accept another position with a second interview coming up. I suppose it depends on how badly you need to find a job.
