Can someone help me with some plane flights, travel plans, etc?
Edited on Wed Mar-16-05 12:00 AM by Faye
I am on dial-up and it does NOT like travelocity.com for some unknown reason. I also think I am doing something wrong. There is no way a ONE WAY flight from Philadelphia to Minneapolis is $550!!!!!

Ok. If anyone has some time, can you help me? I need to find the cost of:

- ONE WAY from Philadelphia, PA to Minneapolis (St. Paul Airport), MN on 06/02/05.

- ONE WAY from Minneapolis, MN to Milwaukee, WI on 06/04/05.

- ONE WAY from Milwaukee, WI to Philadephia, PA on 06/05/05.

****Also, if possible, it would be good to find one of those "flight + hotel (one nite)" deals for Minneapolis to Milwaukee flight.

Thank you to whoever can help!

and at the Rave in Milwaukee.

I did this same kind of thing last summer for the band Vast....I just hope it's as fun as that was, if not more.

Ahh i'm sure it will be. :bounce:

9. I've been to some pretty shitty venues
i'm sure this place will be fine with me. i just want to see the show.

and no, never been to the Rave. I've never been to Milwaukee.

Last summer for Vast show, it was in LaCrosse (not as far as Milwaukee, so we just drove) (well i didn't, i was wasted, my friend drove) :o

15. well there is always the DU option
i know we haven't really talked at all but i do have a spare futon, and i'm sure there would be other milwaukee DUers willing to put you up for a night. if that's not an option you want to take, you can search hotels on expedia.com by city.

there is one right across the street from the rave, the ambassador inn (i think it also goes by the name executive inn), but i have heard mixed reviews about that.

anyways, let me know if there's anything else i can help with.

i've got a couple friends who live over in that area...not marquette kids either

there's certainly "worse" neighborhoods in milwaukee but i got friends in those too haha so i don't know i guess i don't really think of that sort of thing haha maybe i'm just reckless

yeah bad shit happens but bad shit can happen anywhere, just look at that crazy brookfield church fiasco

i just have to find a hotel to stay at in Milwaukee.

The only thing is i was really trying to find non-stop flights but they seem to be so much more expensive.

I don't get it. Last summer I took a round trip from here to Minnesota and it was like $300, but it only took 2 1/2 hours to get there

I wonder why it takes so long now?

10. I suggest calling Northwest Airlines and seeing what they can do.
With the sheet in hand listing the flights already found.

Good luck!

13. do you think the rates would be much different for US Airways?
I never really used any other than US Air. I don't know why. Just used to it I guess - it's what my grandparents, dad, etc all of my family always used.

Don't forget to stand against the wall and spread 'em, too. May I suggest Amtrak or Greyhound?

21. you have two problems
No. 1 is you're booking way too early for the best price. The presumption that anyone who books that far ahead "has" to be there, hence, you are going to pay more. I wouldn't buy until 4-6 weeks before departure, at which time you are likely to find some deals on Northwest Airlines and maybe US Airways originating in PHL.

THe other problem is that one way tickets cost a lot more because they are mainly purchased by business travelers. Apparoach it as if you were making a multi-legged journey rather than three 1 way tickets.

Travelocity never has the best deal. For something of this complexity departing PHL, I'd probably start by going directly to nwa.com because their website is very easy to use.

and other subversives. We intend to clean them out,
even if it means rounding up every birdwatcher in the country.
