3. Haha, I just had this conversation with a friend...
All my favourite shows get cancelled after the second season. First Twin Peaks, then this Danish show I'm into called 'Riget'...so I kind of expect it with Carnivale, but I'm really hoping there's more after this season.
She is the daughter of a COD (Creature of Darkness) if she bears a child of her father's it's too predictable and doesn't explain why/how she is the omega. If she bears a child of a COL (Creature of Light) and Justin thinks it's his and the line is carried on but it turns out to be Ben's... Perfect.
Somehow Sophie is the end player I just haven't managed to figure it out yet.
7. it's an awesome show and part of me is glad it's only going to be a few
seasons...to be honest, after the big showdown any subsequent plot would seem anticlimactic to me, so I'm honestly glad that the creators realized this before we had a "jump the shark" season...
suddenly we find out she's plotting against Justin. She's killed all those people. I wonder if there isn't going to be some big surprise in the final episode.
But that's what keeps us watching. We don't know how they'll wrap everything up with just 2 episodes left. Maybe they're planning a real Dallas/JR type cliffhanger.
21. Excellent show. I think it could grow into another season.
Conventional wisdom would tell you the last episode of this season should be the end of it all. But I can see a storyline beyond the ultimate confrontation between The Usher (Justin) and The Avatar (Ben). Sophie (The Omega) is Justin's daughter and she and Ben did have intercourse in one of the earlier episodes. The storm that was going on stopped abruptly at the moment of climax. It could be very interesting if Sophie, who carries the blood of The Usher, is pregnant with the child of The Avatar.
