Who was the President who slept through his entire term?
Maybe it's a myth but my high school History teacher told us there was a president who slept through his entire term (through some sort of technicality)...Anybody know about this?

3. Perhaps Harrison
since he got pneumonia at his inauguration and died 41 days later. (I am getting the 41 days from another poster who mentioned him).

8. Cousin Hayes was that one
according to the official site on inaugurations:
"March 3, 1877, and March 5, 1877 -- Rutherford B. Hayes
1.First president to take the oath of office in the White House.
2.Was sworn in prior to Inauguration Day, because it fell on Sunday. Took oath privately on Saturday, March 3, and publicly on Monday, March 5, 1877. (The Presidents and Their Wives, p. 3)"

9. Oh...the "technical" Presidents. Never sworn in and all.
That's different.
