Wolfowitz Nominated for World Bank. "Lock Up Your Combs" Warns EU

Reports that Paul Wolfowitz is literally "salivating" at becoming head of the World Bank has Europeans frightened and bewildered.

"He's salivating at the prospect," said Gerhard von Brylcreem of Germany, "and we all knows where his saliva ends up. It's time to hide our combs and hairbrushes if we intend to get within 10 feet of the man."

"I keep three roosters on my farm," quipped Brest farmer Andre Plus de Peigne, "and I have already lubricated their combs with olive oil. Hopefully this *Loup* will see they're already wet and just pass them by."

Even the Pope expressed dismay. "I hope this isn't the start of a trend. The last thing we need is for our flock to start taking their communion wafers out of their mouths to primp for an evening on the town."
