but I used to live in SF. There were snails there, too.

the end result is the same, and the snail adds the little "crunch".

11. but slugs are so slimy
and when I see them during the day, slugs are more disgusting than snails. Not that I like snails, but slugs freak me out. *shudder*

and a snail is just as slimey as a slug.

By the way, do you know what kind of slugs we have here? The mascot of UC Santa Cruz is the banana slug. They get about 8 inches long...

in German "Nacktschnecke" (wordly translation would be naked snail). Don't know the Latin name for it.

16. well I think it's very pretty...
If I had to name it, I'd call it an Apple Slug.

It reminds me of some of the prettier nudibranchs I see while scuba diving.
