7. They are short of good holidays here.
I think there are something like 10 bank holidays, and four or five of them are so generic, they are called "Bank Holidays." No reason given.

It's only Christmas, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, and May Day which are actual days.

'Late spring bank holiday' doesn't have quite the same ring to it.
