I really hate it when Windows XP X64 bit shuts down mysteriously
Did I hit the wrong combo of keys ? I doubt it. Probably a MS bug yet to be worked out before 64 bit goes gold.

1. what are you running on?
We've got a 3 year old desktop, and I'm wondering whether I should wait for 64 bit to replace it.

2. 64 bit Athlon 2800 chip and an Asus A8V mobo
99.999% of the time, it works perfectly. I highly recommend it. Unless you want to go 64 bit Linux.

3. I guess that's why they call it a "beta"
It didn't seem to like my mobo for some reason, so I decided to wait a while. I DID install Novell Suse Linux Pro x64, however, and it works exceedingly well!
