My Husband is Going to Have Surgery Tomorrow
I was hoping I could get a little love from all of you. He has been in the hospital since Monday and I have been a wreck. He has acute pancreatitis and gall stones. The swelling in his pancreas has gone down, so tomorrow he will have his gall bladder taken out.

Please pray for him tomorrow

Thanks to all of you

I understand what you're going through.

Just remember to take care of yourself, too. You need to be strong and healthy to take care of him.

18. I just prayed a nice, affirmative prayer.
He will get through the pre-operation time and operation smoothly. His body will heal quickly, and there will be no complications. He is health! He will be Health! And I give thanks for Spirit, and Spirit's limitless power! Blessings to you and your family! And so it is! Amen!

21. Best wishes and good thoughts for both of you.
The new gall bladder procedures are a lot less painful and time consuming.

Hoping he has a speedy recovery.

22. Good Thoughts
Wishing you both the very best. He the physical strength and you the emotional. I have a husband in relapse with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and Sat. we are facing a CT scan as there has been definite recurrence. I know the anxiety of waiting out surgeries. Will pray for you and you wait and see; you will feel a calm tomorrow that you don't feel today. What we need comes to us.

24. If it helps any, my mom had the same thing.
She was in real trouble for a while before the surgery, but afterward, she almost immediately felt better.

Her recovery was quite rapid, and now, at the age of 68, she is acting in plays and dancing, taking yoga, and working out regularly.

So if it helps to know this, people do recover very nicely from this surgery.

I'll have both you and your husband in my prayers.

26. Sending good thoughts your way.
My sister had this a few years ago and although she was very sick when she went in, it seemed like in just a couple of days she was much much better. The recovery time is much shorter and easier if they are able to remove the gallbladder with a lazer. If they wind up having to do regular old fashioned surgery, the recovery time is much longer. Good luck and stay strong for him!
