13. Actually there is an answer to this one.
I heard them interviewed about it one time. They were up late and someone said what time is it and someone said "25 or (2)6 to 4."

23. The story I heard behind this
from VH1 "behind the music"

Phil Collins put those syllables in as a placeholder when writing the song, planning to come back later and put in some more meaningful words. He never came up with any and stuck with the placeholders.

"Didja make her?", which was British for "Did you get laid?"

But I could be wrong.

33. No, I think this is how it works
Old Vaudeville joke:

"I took my wife on a Caribbean vacation."

"D'yer mak'er?"

"No, she came of her own accord!" *rimshot*

Edited on Fri Mar-18-05 06:39 AM by Lady Effingbroke
on edit : Supposedly "SWLABR" is an acronym for "She Walks Like A Bearded Rainbow" -- still doesn't make any sense!

25. That's the lyric, not title of "MacArthur Park" my favorite bad song of
all time

http://www.popculturemadness.com/Music-2/Lyrics/Macarthur.html

chorus:

MacArthur Park is melting in the dark
All the sweet, green icing flowing down
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'Cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again
Oh, no!

30. The story
John's son had drawn a picture of a girl flying in a night sky full of stars. John asked what it was, his son said "its lucy in the sky with diamonds".

Dont know if its true, but thats what the Beatles documentary said.

26. "I Love It When You Call Me Names" by Joan Armatrading
some lyrics:

http://joan-armatrading.the-lyrics.com/(i-love-it-when-you)-call-me-names-343163.html

I can't wait to see you again
I know you're gonna slap my face
you beat me up then beat me again
and over and over and over and over
And over and over

I love it when you call me names

Big woman
And a short short man
And he loves it
When she beats his brains out
He's pecked to death
But he loves the pain
And he loves it
When she calls him names
