I watched Kalifornia for the first time last night!
Someone please tell me how the fuck I've managed to miss this movie for 12 years???

1. Probably because it came out at a time....
...when that whole post-Tarantino, romanticizing scumbag killers thing was in full effect. There were a lot of those movies out around the same time and that one got lost in the shuffle. I thought it was pretty good as well. I haven't seen it since it came out though.

It scared the hell out of me. Brad Pitt was very good as a psycho killer.

4. Oh yeah he was
He was excellent. I remember one scene last night where the rest of the cast learns he's a killer and he's sitting in the back seat, I turned to my wife and said, "there's still nothing they can do to make Pitt look ugly though." Even when he looks scary, he still looks good. Hope I look like that when I'm 40 HAHAHA.

God how I love this movie.
It always makes me laugh when people say that Brad Pitt is nothing more than a pretty boy who can't act. He's not so pretty in this movie (actually looks like he smells) and he's far better an actor than most out there today.
