I was looking for a job, and then I found a job,...
and heaven knows I'm miserable now.
In my life, why do I give valuable time
to people who don't care if I live or die?

-Morrissey

Took a job this morning, ya'll, that this tune sums up my feelings pretty well. :puke:

rope. It seems that in order to have enough of one, you have to give up some of the other. It really sucks.

Good luck with the new job..hope it turns out to be better than you thought it would be.

2. One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite bands
The Smiths were brilliant at combining sparkling, well-crafted music with those great, dour lyrics.

Johnny Marr is my 3rd favorite guitarist (George Harrison and Eric Clapton beat him, and Peter Buck is fourth).

4. Yes...
I've been an auto parts counter person for the last decade or so. I got laid off about a month or so ago, so I've been looking for work in parts because that's what is going to pay me the most...sad but true. This job is at another car dealership. I've known the parts manager for years and he REALLY wants to hire me, but the owner won't let him hire anybody right now, so he's arranged for me to get this lower job in the service department with the promise that he'll hire me as soon as he's able too, with the blessing of the service manager on this promise. It's less than ideal, but it's a foot in the door.
