Who else likes to watch Telemundo even though they can't understand it?

I have forgotten literally everything I learned in Spanish in high school and can't understand a word they're saying and I bet those soap operas they have are probably pretty dumb anyway, but I don't care because those girls are so hot. :9 That alone makes it worth watching.

6th Grade I believe was the last time I studied Spanish. I also like watching Mexican Soccer on that channel.

It was on Christina's show and the topic was Cross-Dressing Midgets. To this day, it's still the greatest thing I've ever seen on TV.

But I watch that channel at least once a week. It's so damn funny. The drama/soap operas are so far out there, they can get away with anything. Not to mention, the low production values give the whole show a nice kitschy edge, like watching a cheap 70's porn.

I think I enjoy the channel because the stories are told in a very visual and distinctive manner that one can follow the plot without any knowledge of Spanish.

5. It's helping me learn Spanish!

I'm a sucker for their corny novelas (soaps), but I watch univision. I'm motivated to understand what they're saying so that I can follow the story line, and of course, the actors help me out with all their overacting and mugging. I sit there with a Spanish-English dictionary, and I actually have fun learning! Now I have a workable understanding of spoken Spanish. The only trouble is, it doesn't seem to transfer to being able to speak it! You need real practice for that.

His favorite is Sabado Gigantico. The combination of large-breasted scantily clad women, plus the lion that comes out and eats bad performers, is really unbeatable.
