I really loved his country crossover years though..

and I really loved We Didn't See a Thing...his duet with George Jones..was just listening to that yesterday

2. It's amazing.
At the peak of his R&B career, he put out two LPs of country music covers. I can't even imagine what to compare that to today. It would never happen. Like Eminem putting out two CDs of showtunes.
