Asked me about the political landscape in my school...and apparently I didn't set off the "progressive" alarm.
As for how I met him, my step-dad got an appointment with him to talk about his developing small business.

It's never (OK, almost never) a Bad Thing to get face time with the person currently in office. I was just reading on another thread here in the Lounge about someone's connections that are helping a son-in-law get a new job. Who knows how/if it may help you...

8. The only picture of me and a congressman...

is also a Republican. But my Rep is a Repug so what can you do? It's actually a neat photo because it is him and me on the floor of the House of Reps. They don't allow cameras in there normally but our Congressman took us in there after hours and let us "run around" for a while. I also have a picture of me sitting in the speaker of the house's chair. When I get a hold of a scanner, I will post it.
