18. Shit, I didn't even realize you were from Rockford when I wrote that post!
I used to drive back and forth between Chicago and Madison and no matter what the weather was in either place, it was worse in Rockford.

12. Yeah, I commuted down there for 6 months last year
and really didn't care for it much. But I saw a lot of union guys at the Kerry Rally in Madison and they assured me that Janesville is not just a bunch of rednecks and hicks...

Beloit and Rockford - those are the shitholes.

And Janesville, if you will remember, is the city that booted out the KKK!

And it was home of Parker Pen, some of the best made pens in the world. Until Parker died and it went under shitass moran leadership and folded and traded hands so many times I couldn't keep track of it.

I visited Milwaukee not too long ago, and everybody I met was just LOVELY, except for some jag in a fuggin' lifted pickup who cut us off 'cuz of Ms. Lou_Who's DU sticker. But IIRC it was some FIB anyway...
