Newbie question: Visibility of private messages

OK, I give up. Is it easy to quickly see that you have a PM waiting without exiting the Lounge or a thread ? It has seemed faster to exit the Lounge, or at least exit a thread, to see if I have a PM.

So, to see your PM's, you have to exit your thread AND exit the Lounge, correct ?

6. Yup
You either have to go to your Inbox (at the top of the screen, in your row of icons) or into the lobby to see if you have the "new mail" blinkie.
