This is my last night to get liquored up

18. Orgin of term "on the wagon" - Another bit of useless trivia and
you know I am good at this.

The term "on the wagon" originates from the 1800s when a wagon would go through the town and pick up the drunks. When they were in the wagon, they sang hymns and were eventually sober.

I did not Google for this. People use this term all the time, as I used to, but never knew where it came from. Finally, I was reading some book (and no, not a trivia book) and it mentioned the origin. Thought it was very cool. Now all you DUers can show off. Unlike George*, we are curious!

19. That's neat!
Thanks for sharing.

Do you know if the term "that will fix your wagon" stems from the same thing, or does it have to do with something else? Or do you not know?

5. Well show some
restraint. I'll never forget the nights I spent with guys who drank till they dropped. They were also cold, clammy and barely breathing. So have fun, but be careful.

Just don't be caught in a hotel room with drugs, booze, hookers and w/mixed currency and you should be fine.

14. DRINK TILL YOU DROP!
Do it for me, yvr girl! I gave up alcohol for Lent in order to do my own spring cleaning. I can't wait until it's over! One week left.

But I'm glad I shook it for a while. Hopefully that'll mean I can get drunk quicker on Easter morning!

16. I'm a frequent drinker..
... and I love my alcohol. Think its the bipolar thing.

Anyway, I was trying to think, have I ever drank until I dropped? I really don't think so. I have puked a couple of times and in both cases I regretted my excess the next day.

But drop? Man that must lead to some kind of hangover :)

As for you - follow your inner guide

20. You sure as hell shouldn't drink if you're going to just go online
and chat on a messageboard.

But if you're doing it with real people get shitfaced, who cares.
