In another DU forum. I didn't think anyone actually bought that line anymore.

4. Could it be a miswording ?
I am anti-corporation. Private run businesses, and a competitive business environment is a good thing, so I'd hardly say I'm anti-business.

7. I'm pro-business
As long as they pay the workers a living wage. The CEO of Disney making 500 million while the hot dog slinger is making $5.15 per/hour pisses me fucking off. Treat your fucking workers as partners and not a fucking tool and I don't have a problem.

9. Depends on what the business does;
Ethics mean a lot to me. Do ethics mean a lot to the corporations in power? (Nope)

11. Some people get that idea because Dems are "pro-labor"
And then assume we are anti-business. If anything, anyone who is pro-labor is usually "anti-managemaent" or "anti-capitalist".

I know in most cases I'm anti-management. I've been an IBEW member for 35 years. Experience has shown me that most mgmt types are cut out of the same weasel mold.

14. The most pro-business move either party could make...
Would be to enact universal national health care for our country. This would take a huge expense off the bottom lines of our businesses and allow them to be more competitive in the global economy.
