Good Morning D.U.
I do hope that we're all merry and bright this delightful Monday morning.

For the first time since last autumn, no coat to work today just my scarf.:D

I hope that all had a splendid week-end - the weather on this side of the Atlantic was gorgeous especially on Saturday.

Now it's time to start another fun-filled week of work and mindless boredom, so let's start as we mean to go on - by breaking from work drinking coffee and eating doughnuts. :donut:

6. I hope you're not suggesting that Iraq is like Vietnam
That would make you into an America-hating liberal... :P

8. Oh no, I would never suggest that America instigates or participates..
..in wars of Imperial aggression....far be it for me to even plant that thought in anyone's mind....

1. Not so merry, not so bright.
My procrastination is kicking me in the ass, I'm trying to finish a paper due this afternoon right now, and the weather sucks. Cold, cloudy, and windy, though it's supposed to warm up later in the day. So stick that in your pipe and smoke it, ya limey bastard! :P

4. I hate that, CubsFan.
I'm on spring break!!!!
However, it's not all fun and games. I have a paper to research for polysci and a test on federalism to study for this week.

5. Drink strong sweet coffee
I always wrote my university essays during caffeine & sugar highs; the prose flowed like the Mississippi.

Sorry about your weather I hope that it does warm up later.

I've never quite understood limey as an insult, as it refers to the avoidance of scurvy on long sea-voyages - hey ho I actually like lime (especially a wedge of it in G&T).

10. I may have to resort to that.
I've been trying to stay up and force out brilliant words without the influence of caffeine, but I will shortly succumb without it. My brain slows down and my temper shortens if I don't have an infusion of sweet, sweet nectar from the gods. And rather than continue to talk about it, I'm going to put on a pot right now. :D

11. The fun bit is where your hands shake too much
And you can't type properly anymore - even I found that a good point to stop drinking more coffee.

9. That's wierd.
I'll be sitting there pottering away on the computer, and suddenly realise that it's getting light outside.

I'll certainly be on the look-out for some fun - hope you get lots of it too.

12. Fresh snow greeted me this Spring morning.
I'm enjoying the beauty of that cold, wet, white stuff hopefully for the last time until summer's come and gone again.

:donut: Good Monday morning.

13. Just as long as you like it
If I'm in the right mood then snow is wonderful (we haven't had any settle this year), but by now I'm past the time when I want it. It would just be cold and nasty i.m.o.

It does look very beautiful though to have a fresh fall covering everything in glistening pure white.

14. Let the sun shine in! I don't care much for snow.
I'm trying to keep a positive attitude so I don't start the morning grumbling.
