4. The Penitents....

A friend of mine is from Malaga and they go every year to visit family. She and her husband bring back a new little penitent miniature for us every year. Each one is about an inch to two inches tall, and they come in all sorts of different colors. Red robes with black hoods, blue hoods and robes, all black, all white, etc.

They get one each time because the first time I went over to their house and saw their collection I made a 'what the fuck' comment. Showing my ignorance, but it was funny.

Now people come over to our house and look at all our multi-colored pneitents on our mantle and go "What the fuck!"
