What about Sept 11 memories concerning "survivors / "sung and unsung
heroes and heroines?"

I find that I actually still liked that pilot who urged the passengers on his flight to throw anything and everything at the highjackers and then knock them down and throw blankets over them to keep them from highjacking the plane, being the animal person I am the humane society people who escorted people to check on their pets, as well as Former President Clinton who tried to nip the whole thing in the bud as well as Senator Clinton who I expected was a paragon of "Senate resoluteness" compared to *.

I remembered seeing a "Ken Taylor" entry on one of the survivor's lists and later had gotten confirmation from the Canadian Foreign Affairs department that he was the Ken Taylor who at one time pulled an "Ayatollah" joke at Khomeini's expense and was glad he had "made it" for I didn't know what anyone who either vaguely or clearly remembered the Canadian Caper incident would have done had he not made it. I also remembered hearing how Fergie or the Duchess of York nearly could have been at the Trade Centre but was caught in traffic and I wondered what her initial reaction was, probably "oh bloody hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!." Also being an animal lover, I couldn'nt help but have a few memories of some animal survivors like some cat who had survived 18 days in her keepers' balcony and another cat who had kittens in the World Trade Center disaster zone.

1. There was a guy who owned a shoe store in Lower Manhattan
who gave away free running shoes to women who were wearing high heels or who had lost one or more shoes while trying to escape the cloud of ash.
