My sig line is treasonous and evil!

From my extremely short tenure on anncoulter.com's forum (two days. Heh, they didn't ban me until I sunk to their level) I learned something interesting. My sig line is treasonous! I am a traitor!

Apparantly my dropping hotwords in every post it jamming up Echelon system, which is in turn damaging national security by wasting the NSA's precious time and bandwidth. :wtf:

I responded with a few points. First, it's not right to be watched without reason. These alleged laissez faire conservatives apparantly don't mind if a big brother watches every word they type on the internet. I believe I said it best, "If you're gonna watch me, it's your own fault if you see my ass when I moon you."

Beyond that... what sort of horrible terrorist would actually say, in english no less, "We're gonna blow up the white house!"?

I actually favor dirty intelligence if it works my way. I have little ethical problem with assassination of leaders if it means it'll prevent war. But the point of intelligence is that people do it. People who, while imperfect, can learn and adapt. Trusting an Echelon-like system to look out for threats is like using an online bot to translate a language. It might technically work because it's programmed to recognize things, but it'll come out all wrong. The only reliable way to do it right is to pick up a book and translate it yourself.

So... um... yeah. Guess I'm a traitor.

Private serurity firm. Useless group of indivduals really. I had them working for me when I was Night Manager at a hotel. I felt better protected getting to know the drug dealers staying at my place and keeping a baseball bat behind the desk. At least the abt didn't crawl off and go to sleep on me.
