To think this depth of lyrical perception could be reached when these guys were in their late teens and very early 20s is amazing to me. The song remains relevant as I age.

Unfortunately, now being used to shill a fucking vehicle for sale...sigh...they only use the refrain, of course. It's a GM vehicle, like when Chevy trucks used Bob Seger's "Like a Rock" to connote strength and longevity. Heheheh...had they listened to that song, they would know it is a sad song about a lot of things, but strength and longevity ain't one of them.
