To what lengths have you gone to on account of your Oasis fandom?
I was watching the Trekkies documentary the other day, and was fascinated to find out the lengths people go to to express their fandom. The stars of all the Star Trek shows get plenty of fan mail, but there are also things going on such as people writing their own Star Trek movie, building devices similar to those found in the television show, dressing up as the characters and drawing interesting pictures of the characters.

Seeing as how if you have twenty-five people in a room, that nineteen of them are Oasis fans, I figured that DU would be a treasure trove of fandom stories. I know what I've done for Oasis, now it's your turn to talk about the lengths to which you have gone on account of your Oasis fandom.

3. I grew a monobrow and punched my brother in the face.
Then I got drunk and played "put my nunchuck in your locker" with 5 groupies on my bus.

Livin' la vida Oasis!

6. You cannot grow a monobrow.
Not even by applying Rogaine (it only grows hair back that was there before, not makes new hair). You are born with one, like Noel Gallagher was not born with one.

9. I rewrote a bunch of Beatle songs
Then I put out an "Oasis tribute album" with the songs. I've done my part.

That is one of the songs where I think the Beatles briefly ascended to the sort of heights that Oasis has constantly been in throughout their five platinum albums.

15. It's not really a matter of quantity.
We all have different talents which we use. Mine is the written word, and others have employed other talents. I would never be able to record an Oasis tribute album as one person on this thread has, for instance.
