4. Especially for their stupidity!
Uh, don't these fatuous morons (I don't feel that way every day) read the press. The polling is 'deadly' for any government entity (other than courts) interfering with this. I mean, if you're going to be a whore, at least be a good one! I recommend they all read the book "Mayflower Madam" (if they weren't there live).

3. Yeah, I see * as a CFL team and the people as the 70's Raiders.
Lets see, "right to life" Terry S case -- hmm, even evangelicals are opposing him on this by about 6 points and everyone else by about 40 points. And then there is the 'nuclear option'-filibuster issue in the Senate. Public opinion is strongly in favor of protecting minority, read Democratic, rights in the Senate. What else...oh yea, Iraq. Public opposition is about 53 opposed 40 support since 10/04 (our candidates failed to notice).

This is not Republican versus Democrat. This is * and Rove versus the people and the people are pissed. I say it's time to pile on.

7. Good thread
:toast:

I'm just trying to think of all the bad sportsmanship teams as representative of our side. Hmm...the Philadelphia Flyers (against the USSR Team, wow); the 1970's Yankee's team that beat up the Sox (literally); the 70's Steelers (any game); oh yeah, the Detroit Pistons with Lambier, etc. This is what * needs, a real opponent with a bad attitude.

Let the games begin!

6. But what's a Hail Mary if you win ...
no matter what happens?

Not a winning issue if the Repugs can frame opponents as "Pro-Death" in 5 second sound bites and it's 12-16 months too far away from any election to still have legs.
