Speaking of names, nobody can EVER get my dog's name right
His name is Scruffy, which you would think would be easy. But I live in a Cuban neighborhood in Miami, which means that most of my neighbors always mispronounce his name.

Latin people just can't say an S word without putting an ES in front of it. And for some reason, they have trouble with the SCR part of it.

So when they ask me his name and I tell them, they say something like "Eh-scorofee".

1. I laughed HARD reading that.
My neighbor's mother is from Costa Rica. My neighbor's dog is named "Buster." When my neighbor's mom says it, it sounds like "Bastard."

6. Thank you
Up until two months ago, he was a stray dog. I found in my front yard one rainy afternoon and kept him. I hung up flyers all over the neighborhood and nobody claimed him, so now he's mine.
