I am Running for Congress

I am planning on running for the United States House of Representatives in the 1st Congressional District of Wisconsin in 2006. I have thought long and hard about this decision. Quite frankly, I feel it is time for a change in the 1st CD.

I will fight for all of the people in my district. I plan on putting the preservation of Social Security on the top of my campaign, along with health care, education, the budget deficit, and the environment.

My message will be positive. I will not campaign negatively. I will, however make sure that all of the people in the district are aware of Rep. Paul Ryan's voting record, and contrast that to my own beliefs.

I humbly ask for your help DU. I know I cannot do this alone, but together, we can make this important change. I can no longer sit by and watch as my interests, and the interests of all Wisconsinites, and, quite honestly, all Americans are tossed to the curb. I need your help. Please, if you would like to help, would like to know if you are in the 1st CD, or know of someone who can help me, please let me know. Send me a message, reply to this post, and help me help the people of Wisconsin.

5th James Sensenbrenner (R) Brookfield
6th Thomas Petri (R) Fond du Lac
8th Mark Green (R) Green Bay

Great instructors, including Jeff Blodgett who was Wellstones manager and Roy Temple, who engineered Ashcroft loses to a dead man.

Only downside is they give you waaay too much info to digest in one week-end.

Rule #1- Start raising money NOW!!

And hire a good professional campaign manager, and get an organization together ASAP. There's way too much work to do.
