Ashlee Simpson question.
I have had the *ahem* fortune of hearing parts of the song and it begs the question for me, what does it mean to la la on the kitchen floor?

3. It means ...
... that Ashlee had the good sense to NOT pledge to her father that she would remain a virgin until she had a major TV development deal and married a rich guy -- unlike sister Jessica.

4. That very question was addressed on MTV's
"Ashlee Simpson Show"! To be "la la" means to be, like, young and crazy and doing whatever you want, you know, with, like, your friends, or yourself, or whatever. You can la la anywhere.

Yes, I watch that show on occasion because it just boggles the mind to see how low pop culture has sunk, and how such a no-talent kid can get all this fame and fortune. (But it was funny watching her go through the SNL debacle.)

Hope that helps!
:hi:

5. This is an example of how ignorance can be bliss.
Because I think we'd all be so much better off not knowing she has a show, or knowing that she exists for that matter.

10. At least give me credit
for admitting that I've actually seen the show, and her, and that I'm willing to make myself look utterly stupid before thousands by that admission.

:D

6. It means sex, which is why they censored it for the Orange Bowl.
She *says* it means young and crazy, but there are very many explicit sexual references in that song--basically, she's a fucking poser.

"you can dress me up in dirt" and
"I like it better when it hurts" became "You can dress me in a shirt" and "I like it better when we flirt."

And please... "I'll be your french maid when I meet you at the door, I'm like an alley cat, drank the milk and I want more...you make me wanna..."????

That's being young and crazy? Whatever, preacher dad.

8. another example of conservative "values"
You know her sister Jessuca supported Bush and I doubt Jessica Simpson broke away from a liberal family. Another great example of those conservative "values"!
