I was born and raised here. I thought the world was like this until I moved out of Miami after graduating college.

I used to know a mentally ill woman from Ohio that would always say "You people in Florida are just weird". I never understood.

beautiful beaches - the ones that weren't ruined by the hurricanes. We beat Texas last year for the most hurricanes in one season! We have no income tax because we get to soak the tourists for everything they can charge. And we have Disney. That measn we have the resources to entertain a growing industry of real real news and not that crappy fake stuff that's on TV. Forget Reality TV - this is much better. Life and death struggles with real people. The more these stories show the hearts and souls of Florida, the more tourists we get. They show all those protestors - in the Florida tropics - not the Boston snow. And down here the crazy people don't have to worry about freezing to death.
